Budapest Blues

Growing up in a big, historical European city like Budapest definitely helped forming my personality and planted seeds to my endless love of "classic European" things such as museums, parks, cafes, big fancy bookstores, inner-city rivers and the list goes on and on. When I moved to Tel Aviv about 6 years ago, even though these two cities could not be more different from one another, the transition was surprisingly smooth (more on this later). In an ideal world, I would live in a city with beautiful 19th century architecture, more theaters than cinemas, top hats and walking sticks as the ultimate accessories for men and a big sandy beach...naturally.

One of my friends, who still lives in Budapest, sent me this video, which made me happy (Pharrell will be glad to hear) and nostalgic in the same time. It's just such a great and fun city that I know I'll always call home.

Where are you guys from? Do you still live in the same place? If yes, which one do you call home?
